Everyone can make suggestions to Spirit team reps in here. Anything you'd like to see the Spirit do. Spirit staffers DO read this message board, so if you have an idea, lets hear it! It's great that the Spirit WANTS to get ideas from the fans!
So far we have had:
1) "I wonder if the Spirit could put game interviews on their web site so everyone has a chance to hear them. Most people don't take a radio to the game and never hear these. Even when they're on the road I don't always get a chance to hear them." by ricardo
2) "Here's another suggestion - how about a call-in "talk show" w/Greg Brady after each home game like they used to do back in the IHL & UHL days? You get out of the game & you're all excited (or angry! haha!) & you want to talk about the game (or listen to talk about the game). The post game show only gets me a few blocks away (after walking all the way out to my car), and I live in Hemlock, so a nice 20-30 minute (or LONGER!) post-game call in show would ROCK!!!" by SaginawGensFan
3) "Let's make the game a little more 'high tech' & 'interactive' and get Greg a computer w/internet up there in the booth & he could answer some listener's e-mail during the game (as it's happening)! Or his color man for the evening could do that, so Greg could focus on the game. That would be FUN!!!" by SaginawGensFan
4) "Could there be an actual fan club in our future. Dare to dream." by BPFox
5) "How about making the Blue Line Club open to everybody AFTER the game - keep it a season ticket "perk" before & during the game, but open to all after the game. A TON of people would probably stop in & have a beverage before heading out! Also... a great time for fans to mingle & talk about the game. But with it only being open to season ticket holders, it's kind of a captive audience & I don't think the attendance will ever be different than it is now, because it's the same people you are dealing with. Open it to everyone (after the game) & you automatically increase your potential audience significantly!" by SaginawGensFan
6) "When I was young, the blue line club after the game meant music and dancing, a real party atmosphere. Of course that was the 70's and life was a real party atmosphere.
I think opening the club up AFTER the games to everyone is a great idea, along with weekend bands. I doubt your going to increase blue line traffic after games on a thursday night.
Also, might be nice to have a corporate night where corporate season ticket holders can show off their products and services like at a trade show. Maybe in the spring, a mini boat show and in the fall a mini snowmobile show. Kinda like how there has been a chrysler product in the entrance atrium at some of the games.
I do miss the post game interviews and quite frankly, when they stopped is basically when we stopped going to the club after the games.
Also, bringing the plyers in was nice too. seems like we did that a few years ago." by Sparky
