I don't have my hopes up too much tonight, but as long as we play hard and play like we did Wednesday, we should have a chance.
Go Spirit!
Any more guys back from NHL camps tonight?

I am looking forward to the game tonight. I agree with eric, just play hard! I sure hope there is a big crowd tonight. I heard Goslin on the radio Monday saying that they did have more tickets already sold for tonight's game then they did Wednesdays. He seemed more concerned about the crowds this season. Makes me wonder... Oh well, I might even have a beer or two tonight. :-)

Yea, we had a lot of fun tho. Good to see and hear Greg Brady! He's not the full time radio guy is he? I thought I heard him say he wasn't going to be doing the radio show next week? btw, Stu that was me that said Hi...

The Spirit didn't play very well tonight and nobody really stood out. Alot of bad retaliation penalties leaving the team short handed. Hope they come out stronger next Friday against Sarnia.

Brady said he is no longer the play by play guy for Windsor, and is a free agent (so-to-speak). He even hinted that he would like to come back here, but it will cost the big bucks to get him here! haha! It was somewhat in jest, I think, but man, he sort of threw that out there. In my opinion, whatever the asking price is, it would be foolish for management not to throw the cheese at him to have him back in Saginaw doing play by play!!!!! Should we start an online petition or something to "rehire Greg Brady"??
Oh, and also, there goes our undefeated season. Dang, I was really pulling for that! ;D

Hey, regardless of last night's outcome, I'm still happy the team got 2 points out of 4 again the CHL's #1 and #3 ranked teams!
The most disappointing thing I saw last night was the blueline matchup the Spirit had on the ice late in the 2nd period when the Spits tied the game.
Having a green rookie in Brad Walch out against a line with Taylor Hall on it should NEVER happen in your own building when you have the last change.
Walch has upside and will be a solid blueliner, I'm just not sure I'd throw him out against the other teams' top line in his 2nd OHL game with a one-goal lead.

Hall played 28 minutes last night, so there really was not much time when he was not on the ice.

I'm a little disappointed in last night's result. Up 2-0 on 2 days rest playing a team that played last night, and then to lose kinda leaves a foul taste, IMO. A tough road trip coming up with Sarnia (who owned us last year), the Soo, and the Knights. We're still learning so we should gain some good experience going into other teams' barns.

Did anyone notice how awful the numbers on the back of the jerseys looked... The numbers on the back were way too low and the sleeve numbers were all over the place (some of them were nearly on the shoulders and a few players numbers on one sleeve would be higher than on the other...)
Must have had a rookie equipment person to sew them this year...
