Anyone know what Nick Moutrey is doing this year? I didn't see him on the Blue Jackets roster, so wondering where he's playing.

The new AHL team of the Columbus Blue Jackets are the Lake Erie Monsters (Cleveland). Nick will probably play there. The ECHL team is the Kalamazoo Wings so there is always a chance he could go there.
As for Shalla and Paterson, they could both be going to the Toledo Walleye at some point.

I heard last night if the Red Wings don't sign Shalla for Grand Rapids, he becomes a free agent and has other AHL teams interested in him.

Pretty funny! At least Luongo bailed him out...had Calgary come back the other way and scored it would have been that much worse. I loved his reaction when he turned around and saw the play back at the other end. Probably didn't matter much, as good of a player as he is, I don't think he ever would be confused for an defensive forward

Everything you wanted to know about the Brampton Beast: The Brampton Beast are the only active Canadian professional ice hockey team in the ECHL since the 2014–15 season. An affiliate of the National Hockey League's Montreal Canadiens and the American Hockey League's St. John's IceCaps, the team originally played in the Central Hockey League for one year during the 2013–14 season prior to the league's folding. Based in Brampton, Ontario, the Beast play their home games at the Powerade Centre on Kennedy Road. (From Wikipedia)

Of course the CHL used to be the new IHL, which was the old UHL, which was the old Colonial Hockey League. If it was run like any of those others, it's no wonder it folded.

Only for a couple days and only for practice to give the normal GR guys a break. Twitter says he'll be back in Toledo to start the game on Wednesday. The guy he's been splitting time with in Toledo was loaned to the AHL San Diego Gulls so he's needed in Toledo and it doesn't sound like the two goalies in GR are hurt, just tired. Regardless, it's still a great opportunity for his development.
