Not surprised to see Cardwell go. He’s a great young prospect and realistically I think the most valueable trade piece for acquiring a high end player in terms of how trades usually go.

Drinkell says the Spirit are done with trades. Gonna assume that Wilde will be back in Saginaw soon, then. Have to be done with trades...the deadline was at Noon. |

Not 100% sure here, but I don't think Noon is a hard deadline. What I mean by that is I believe if there is a deal in the works there is a certain amount of time to work out details if a agreement in principle is in play. I'm sure we are past that by now, but deals have been announced in the past that went beyond the noon deadline. |

That’s correct. Both teams have to sign off, but the League can still make it official after noon. Allows for delays in paperwork, etc.

Drinkill””: “I think that was from someone like, I think, OHL Insiders. I think he’s somewhat misinformed”.
He didnt completely rule it out, but he didnt sound overly optimistic either...
