Whether you found the post offensive or not it is an obstacle for the city of Saginaw to overcome. The phrasing could have been different but it is a major obstacle for us to overcome. My wife has become friends with a prominent musical group and reached out and asked why the haven’t come through Saginaw in over a decade they all responded virtually the same - well if the venue was in a better part of town we’d definitely come back.

It’s certainly an obstacle to overcome, and I stand by those words. (You’ll also find a post where I stated how often I’m in Saginaw and the stereotype is greatly overdone). But to suggest a bus trip through a particular neighborhood on Cultural Diversity Day 🙄🙄🙄 is WAY over the line.
I wont talk about this any more because we’re here to talk hockey. But the day is gone where I’ll allow a comment like that to go unchallenged.

Can we just take it back to the post that started this and delete them including this one. One posters comments does not represent the thought and comments of Saginaw. I remember how bad the Soo looked after one players thought or words made their team look. I don’t believe the apology of the posters is true, let’s just get rid of it to show this is not what Saginaw is. Saginaw has plenty or band circus, and other events sell sout. If people want to so prefer that people are more unsafe or in danger of attending a hockey game at the Dow I welcome the debate in private. Will the Mod please get this back to trade deadline.

First off I didn’t ask the Mid to shut down the post. I asked him to remove post from your racial comment and All posts after that. The fact that you continue to defend your comments sleek volumes to your believes. You want to make a stupid racial comment is what set this off. You saying the racial stuff you show who you are. You do not represent what what Saginaw is and that why I asked to remove the posts. Once your identified your comments I promise will make you sorry you are defending them so strongly.
