I guess the silver lining is that BMB not being suspended goes against the whole "the league and the refs are against us" conspiracy crap that a couple of Hounds fans are peddling on the HF Boards. I'm not surprised by the ruling, personally.

I feel like we should be mentioning our “back-up goalie”—you know, the guy who win 15 straight games this season? What a performance by LaLonde. Hasnt played in awhile, all the pressure in the world, and he was outstanding. That penalty shot stop was one for the ages, and IMO the turning point of the game.

Wholeheartedly agree, sf8. The Hounds were never the same after the penalty shot. Can't forget about that breakaway save with about 7ish minutes left in the 3rd period. Could have made it a 4-3 game, but then Mangone scores on the other end immediately after to make it 5-2 instead. And 14 saves in the first period. He really set the tone tonight.
Credit to the defense for blocking a lot of shots as well. Just 9 shots on goal given up in the last 40 minutes.

A pivotal Game 4 tonight in the Soo. By the sounds of it, no Andrew Oke once again for Saginaw and probably no Jack Beck for the Hounds as he is still practicing in a non-contact jersey. It'd be really nice to take both games up north but you know the Hounds will be desperate tonight after how bad they looked in the second half of Monday's game. All the other playoff series in the league are at 3-0, for what it's worth.
