If McDonough and Combs are not back then Murovich will be the next Spirit captain.
If McDonough and Combs do come back Murovich will at least have an "A" on his jersey.
Watson loves this kid because of his work ethic.
It's good to hear that Saad will be at camp, maybe the experience will sway him and his parents to stay. He will get a lot of chances to prove himself if McD and Combs are not back.
Has anyone heard any news about McD in Europe?

He will get a lot of chances to prove himself if McD and Combs are not back. Has anyone heard any news about McD in Europe? This is a quote from Red Bull Salzburg's website: Ryan McDonough's statistics paint a similar picture: representing the Saginaw Spirit in the OHL (Ontario Hockey League/CAN) he scored 45 times from 66 regular season games and another 2 goals in 4 play-off games. Whereas Colton Yellow Horn could sign a two-way contract, allowing him to play in both the 1st and 2nd divisions, Ryan McDonough should play in the 1st division only. Salzburg's head coach Pierre Pagé rates both players very highly: "Colton is incredibly talented, which is confirmed by his impressive goal record in the Canadian Hockey League. Ryan is also a proven goal-scorer and is also an extremely quick player, and both he and Colton have attended NHL training camps over the last three years. Both of them have what it takes to play in the NHL and are hoping to develop further as players during their time with us." The tryout phase for both players finishes at the end of August, whereupon a decision will be made as to a possible extension of their contracts for the remainder of the season. www.redbulls.com/icehockey/This to me says that they have every intention on keeping him...
