I bet that's a pretty normal number...our average attendance over the last 10 years is in the 3300-3500 range. I'd guess that we normally have 1500-2000 season ticket holders counting toward those totals.

What’s the normal base? 1500 or so? My dad got season tickets and even though he’s been a regular the entire time, he’s NEVER gotten season tickets before. First dibs on memorial cup tickets could have pushed a couple hundred of the same folks into buying. A good chunk of the extra sold is probably blocks of corporate seats too maybe? |

I definitely think that some "flex plan" people and others probably bought into season tix just for the opportunity. I would bet there's probably plus or minus 250 people who probably did.

Friday, May 24: Saginaw vs. WHL Champion
Saturday, May 25: OHL vs. QMJHL Champion
Sunday, May 26: Saginaw vs. QMJHL Champion
Monday, May 27: OHL vs. WHL Champion
Tuesday, May 28: QMJHL Champion vs. WHL Champion
Wednesday, May 29: Saginaw vs. OHL
Thursday, May 30: Tie-Breaker Game (if necessary)
Friday, May 31: Semifinal Game
Sunday, June 2: Championship Game

Just got my ticket package. 70% of the arena has be sold already and that’s as of 10:05 am today. Only thing left are the ends and corners.

Not sure on the percentage but there's still probably like 100 seats between the goal lines left and then like kingpin said, you're down to ends and corners. It will be really interesting to see how many full packages they can sell...I'm sure Goslin has the press release ready to say we sold tickets faster than anyone in history (and I hope we can claim that) but after a certain point, I think it will max out and then everything else will be broken into 2 game packages. I'm also curious to see how they'll use the two end platforms...will those be for VIPs or would they sell general admission packages to those too? Regardless, I can't wait until that first game...we've seen the Dow rocking before (it certainly was for the Flint series) but it will be AWESOME in that first game for the Memorial Cup. |

Two-game ticket packages are now on sale starting today. Worth noting that price per game is a bit more expensive as opposed to the entire tournament package (especially Option 4) and you cannot use promo codes. You also cannot pick and choose which games you want to go to; you get the options below:
Option 1: May 24 and May 27 games (Saginaw vs. WHL and OHL vs. WHL)
Option 2: May 25 and May 29 games (OHL vs. QMJHL and Saginaw vs. OHL)
Option 3: May 26 and May 28 games (Saginaw vs. QMJHL and WHL vs. QMJHL)
Option 4: May 31 and June 2 games (Semi-Final Game and Championship Game)
